Watching first-hand the Dervish Dance in Khartoum, Sudan’s capital city, was an experience.  Although it happened long time ago in May 2007, the images are still deeply embedded in my memory. Dervish Dance is a traditional religious dance ceremony performed only by males. It was fascinating to watch the all-male dancers, as if they were in trance. (It reminded me of my younger days whereby we were stoned from smoking pot!) Dervish Dance takes place at the tomb of Shake Hamad-Alneen every Friday afternoon at around late noon time.

I shall also write my visit at the Red Sea Estate (RSE). During this trip, I had a glimpse of its highlands down to the coastal marine area.
