The Dutch are the masters – maybe more aptly called as modern experts – of water resources management and hydraulics engineering. Among the infrastructures that they have advanced are the windmills. Looking at these windmills at Amsterdam airport reminds me of Sidney Sheldon’s best-selling novel Windmills of the Gods.
